The “why” behind our screenings…
Kristin’s story-
Kristin and her husband George had been happily married for over 20 years. They built a life together and share 3 amazing daughters together (Annabelle, 17, Scarlett, 15 and Ivy, 13). On June 18, 2025, Kristin and her 3 girls went through a heartbreaking tragedy that our should have been 100% preventable. Her husband, George, at the age of 47, collapsed on the job site and could not be revived. Although George went to regular physicals, it was proven that he passed away from a congenital heart condition that had gone undiagnosed. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
George’s passing has inspired us to offer Cardiovascular Screenings and Kristin has taken on the role of coordinating these screenings for surrounding communities and employers.
Our goal with this service is to provide comprehensive screenings at an affordable price to help prevent any other family from having to go through such a devastating scenario.

Cardiac assessment designed by our board-certified cardiologist.
12 lead EKG- more information.
Screening echocardiogram (heart ultrasound)- more information.
Carotid artery and abdominal aorta screening- more information.
Ankle Brachial Indices- more information.
All of this data is reviewed by a board-certified cardiologist that will enter your results into one simple report with his recommendations. You will receive your personalized report within 7-10 business days via email or USPS.
What is the cost of a cardiac screening?
Individual screening are offered at the discounted price shown below. For company screenings, the price will vary on number of employees and screening location.

What makes our cardiovascular screening different from the rest?
Rural Imaging Services is the only company offering echocardiograms (heart ultrasounds) as part of EVERY cardiovascular screening.
Each EKG is performed by a certified Radiology Technologist (RT) credentialed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Each screening echocardiogram, ABI, carotid artery & abdominal aortic screening is performed by a certified Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credentialed through American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
All of this data is reviewed by a board-certified cardiologist who has years of experience and is trusted by his colleagues and patients.
